JBI Corporation can perform any electrical testing on automotive type batteries. We perform Reserve Capacity, Cn Discharges, Cold Cranking Performance, and Life Cycle Testing. We can test at temperatures from -80o C to 150o C. Testing at temperatures of 25o C to 75o C can be done in water baths or air. Reserve Capacity& Cn JBI can perform capacity test discharges up to 2000A. All reserve capacity and Cn testing is done in water baths to ensure proper testing temperatures are maintained. 48 Volt System Testing JBI has the capability to test and cycle batteries in a range of 0-75 volts and 0-500 amps.

CCA & High Rate Testing High rate discharge testing, such as CCA tests, can be performed using our custom built 2000 amp high rate discharger. This discharge has a built in PC with temperature logging capability and will record all data. It can discharge to 0 volts. Life Cycle Testing Over two hundred cycling circuits from 25 to 2000 amperes, maximum 18 volts are available. These are fully programmable by PC and will record all data. All circuits can be used in conjunction with water baths that are adjustable to 75o C for running the common SAE "hot" J240 life cycle test and the J2801 life cycle test. JBI can also perform the GM CERT Test.
